As Charles Dickens Birthday Week draws to a close let's take a look at how this week played out.

Saturday the 4th I posted the Charles Dickens Tag Questions. Thank you to everyone who took the time to answer the tag questions! It was so much fun seeing everyone's answers!

On Monday the 6th we had a guest post, Dickens' Quotables by Charity of Austenitis. She highlighted some very lovely quotes from Mr. Dickens's novels. Thank you Charity for such a delightful post!


Tuesday the 7th was Charles Dickens's 200th birthday! In my post Happy Birthday Charles Dickens! I highlighted 10 facts about Mr. Dickens life and works and celebrated a truly great writer. We also had a guest post featuring Poems by Anne-girl of Scribblings Of My Pen And Tappings On My Keyboard. Thank you Anne-girl for your clever tribute to Dear Mr. Dickens and his characters!

On Wednesday the 8th we had our third guest post, What Makes A True Hero? by Miss Dashwood of Yet Another Period Drama Blog. Thank you Miss Dashwood for your insightful look at what makes Dickensian heroes great!

On Thursday the 9th we had our fourth and final guest post, The Dickensian Heroine by Melody of Regency Delight. Thank you Melody for sharing the similarities seen between all of Dickens' interesting heroines!


On Friday the 10th I posted about Charles Dickens's Last Work: The Mystery of Edwin Drood, telling about the story, the history of the book and the major film adaptations.
